Classical Pilates Collingwood
What’s the difference between Pilates and classical Pilates? The classical Pilates method builds uniform strength throughout the body. Preventing imbalances and promoting overall well-being. This holistic approach to resistance training can be particularly beneficial for individuals wanting to improve their posture, coordination and balance.
Classical Pilates has helped me recover from a knee injury, postural imbalances, and the management of my migraine and ADHD symptoms. Using a system of structured and progressive exercises on the mat and with apparatus. This method is designed for lifelong mastery, with each exercise building upon the previous one. Combining all of Joe Pilates’ work - with breath, mindfulness, brain health & physical strengthening and lengthening.
Lessons are available in person at the farm in Blue Mountain, the Schoolhouse in downtown Collingwood and online.
I am a 4th-generation apprentice from the lineage of Romana Kryzanowska. My studio includes large apparatus: reformer, tower, wunda chair, pedi pole and barrels.
